Stolk Marimecs was born from "Maritiem Technisch Bureau Stolk", which was established in 1986. Stolk Marimecs provides naval architecture and marine engineering design services for new build yachts and sailing ships as well as special commercial craft. One of our specialities is the conversion of commercial and military vessels into top of the range, unique and seaworthy motor yachts.
Together with the design, we can supply all accompanying engineering, system and detailed drawings, including plate cutting files. We can oversee survey and act as project controller on the owner's behalf. Our aim is to combine optimum performance with high quality and safety into a product which is economically viable throughout is life.
Stolk Marimecs combines state of the art 3D-computer styling and engineering techniques with traditional drafting skills and comprehensive experience in the marine industry.
Working with rules and regulations of a Classification Society such as Lloyd’s Register or American Bureau of Shipping and other authorities including MCA and SI is a daily practice.
