Van Oossanen & Associates B.V. are an independent yacht and ship design company, with particular expertise in designing high-performance sail and motor yachts, ships and advanced marine vehicles and in the hydrodynamics area of naval architecture.
The founder of the company, Dr. Peter van Oossanen, has 25 years of experience in this field. His associates are naval architects with an allround background, particularly in the field of yacht design, including the structural design in steel, aluminium, GRP and advanced fibre-reinforced composites.
Although independent design work is carried out for owners and builders directly, as much as 50% of the work carried out is for projects for other designers, requiring our particular expertise in the performance and aero- and hydrodynamics areas.
