Op 24 mei 2016 heeft de NBJA de jaarvergadering gehouden op de Bataviawerf in Lelystad. Aansluitend was er een rondleiding op de werf. Op 18 oktober 2016 zal er wederom een excursie plaatsvinden naar Valk Welding in Alblasserdam en Marquip eveneens in Alblasserdam. Na de excursie zal de NBJA een ledenvergadering houden.
